The Training Workshop under RADMAP 2026 – Emerging Radar Meteorology Frontiers in Observations and Prediction will be conducted from March 16 to March 20, 2026 at CUSAT, Cochin. The workshop is organized in collaboration with SAMA, ACARR, CUSAT, NCMRWF, and MoES.

The program includes special lectures, technical sessions, hands-on training, and field visits focusing on modern radar meteorology, Doppler weather radar technologies, radar data processing, and applications in weather prediction and atmospheric research. Experts and scientists from leading institutions such as IMD, ISRO, NCMRWF, IIT, and VSSC will deliver sessions during the workshop.

Participants will gain practical exposure through hands-on sessions, radar facility visits, and interactive discussions with domain experts. The workshop will conclude with an evaluation session, valedictory function, and the RADMAP conference.
